From a garage to 19 countries
“During my own renovation, I realised that hiring a rubble chute was expensive and impractical. I thought: there must be an easier way.”
I am Jordy Sweers, founder of Stortslurf®. In 2017 I started from my garage with a simple idea: a flexible, affordable rubble chute that anyone can assemble. Through my network, I found a manufacturing partner I still work with today, and together we brought the idea to life.
We started small: the Netherlands only, online only. But the product spoke for itself. Customer by customer, people discovered that Stortslurf® simply works: lightweight, compact and hassle-free. Our stockist network grew, country by country, and we are now active across 19 European markets.
What makes me most proud is that we still deliver the same core product as at the beginning, only better. And that more than 50,000 customers now trust us to make their work easier.
How it started
The product spoke for itself
Customer by customer, people discovered that Stortslurf® simply works. Word of mouth did the rest. The delivery van with the Stortslurf logo became increasingly familiar in the region.
From the Netherlands into Belgium, the United Kingdom and France, the stockist network grew organically. Every new market proved that DIY customers everywhere faced the same problem I had experienced.

From an idea to a European brand
The idea
On a building site in the Netherlands, the idea for a flexible, lightweight rubble chute was born. The first prototypes were manufactured and tested.
Launch
After two years of development, Stortslurf® officially launches. The patent application is filed and the first orders arrive.
European expansion
Stortslurf® becomes available in Belgium, the United Kingdom and France. The stockist network grows to more than 100 locations.
25,000 customers
A milestone: 25,000 satisfied customers in 15 countries. The XL version (Ø80 cm) launches, ideal for large bags, clear-outs and renovation waste.
